Shaped Pixels of Multiple different colors to compose a larger image

I have written a script for GIMP that generates different shapes/colors to make up the average color of a tile of the bigger image.

Here's a sample of what the script creates:
As you can see, in this sample I only used Squares, Circles and Triangles of different sizes/colors to make up a pixelized Mario image (from Super Mario World) JUST SQUINT OR VIEW IMAGE FROM FAR AWAY and You'll see Mario.

The script has in total 6 different (at least it is for now) shapes (Squares, Circles, Triangles, Plus signs, Diamonds and X'es).

When you run the script you can select which shapes you want to use in any combination.
